A renovation project is only as good as the people planning, managing, and completing the work. At Caniversal, our team brings together practical construction experience, attention to detail, and a clear understanding of what homeowners need during a renovation.
How We Work
Our whole process is built around removing the guesswork. That means a few things in practice:
- We look before we quote. We start every project by understanding the actual condition of the home, not by handing you a generic estimate over the phone.
- We put it in writing. Scope, price, timeline and warranty, all documented before any work begins.
- We keep one person responsible. You are not chasing a rotating cast of subtrades. One project manager owns your renovation from start to finish.
- We finish what we start. We take on a manageable number of projects at a time so yours actually gets the attention it needs.
Licensed, Insured and Certified
When you are handing someone the keys to your home and a significant amount of money, credentials are not a formality. Caniversal is a licensed renovation contractor, fully insured, and registered with WorkSafeBC. We are certified with Technical Safety BC, a Lutron Pro residential partner for lighting control, and a Home Depot Pro Xtra member.
We are happy to provide proof of licensing, insurance and WorkSafeBC coverage before you sign anything, and we would genuinely encourage you to ask for the same from any contractor you are considering.
Rooted in the North Shore
Being based in North Vancouver is not a line on a map for us. It shapes how we work. We know what the housing stock here is like, from post and beam homes in the British Properties to older split levels in Lynn Valley and Blueridge to condos in Lower Lonsdale.
We know which homes are likely to hide knob and tube wiring, which lots are steep enough to complicate access, and how the strata approval process works in the buildings around here.
That local knowledge is the difference between a renovation plan that anticipates problems and one that discovers them halfway through. We work across North Vancouver, West Vancouver, Vancouver and the surrounding North Shore, and we treat every home as its own project rather than applying a template.
